Family Lasagna

One of our favorites to feed a working family! To keep it simple and easy, we like to use the marinara sauce from our local Amish store, Big Sky Grocery)

Check out Pryor making Lasagna!

All you need is:

1 pound of DeBruycker Charolais ground beef

1 medium onion chopped

3 tsp garlic powder ( or 1 clove minced)

S&P to taste

1 24oz jar of your favorite marinara sauce- or 3 1/2 cups of your homemade sauce.

9 lasagna noodles

1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup parmesan cheese

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Lightly spray a 9x13 baking pan with oil. Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions.

Brown the ground beef with onions, garlic, salt & pepper (drain if needed)

Add to ground beef, marinara sauce, 1 cup of mozzarella, and parmesan cheeses. Mix well.

Lay 3 noodles in the bottom of the pan, add 1/3 of the beef-marinara mixture and add another layer of noodles. Repeat, ending with meat sauce on top.

Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese.

Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.

Serve with your favorite sides and enjoy after a long day of work!

Be Well, Do Well and Eat Well,

The DeBruycker Family
