Ground Beef for Tacos & More

This seasoned DeBruycker Charolais Ground beef can be used for a variety of easy quick meals. It’s excellent for tacos, quesadillas and nachos. Frying your taco shells is a nice change too!

We like to make our own taco seasoning and have it on hand. It tastes so much better and doesn’t have anti caking agents and added colors.

Homemade Taco Seasoning:

·      1 tablespoon chili powder

·      ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

·      ¼ teaspoon onion powder

·      ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

·      ¼ teaspoon dried oregano

·      ½ teaspoon paprika

·      1 ½ teaspoons ground cumin

·      1 teaspoon sea salt

·      1 teaspoon black pepper

  • Step 1: Cook the ground beef, cook it up until it’s completely browned. Drain the grease. Then when we return to the heat to the stove lower the heat, add the homemade taco seasoning and a small amount of tomato sauce- to taste. You can also add salsa if you’d like.

  • Step 2: Allow the taco meat to simmer briefly in the sauce to give more flavor.

If you want to fry your taco shells:

  • Fry the corn tortillas in a small amount of oil in a medium size skillet. Once fried on both sides, remove the tortillas and fold in half to form their shape.
