Single-sourced beef

What is single-sourced beef and why does it matter?

What is single-sourced beef?

Single-sourced is a term in the industry that means the animal can be traced back to the farm or ranch it was raised on.

Single-sourced is another way to say the shortest path.

DeBruycker Charolais Meats (DC Meats) single-source beef is fresher and of higher quality than you typically find in a supermarket. DeBruycker Charolais cattle are first in the industry for conversion of forage to a finished product for a more sustainable use of the land.

So, what does that mean to you and why does it matter?

Single-sourced means that our beef stays in our control throughout the entire process. Sometimes, the process is referred to as farm-to-fork.

Our cattle are born and raised on our land under the big blue skies of Montana. The cattle are free-range grass-fed on Montana prairie grasses and grain-finished at a local feedlot. The beef is then processed at a local USDA facility and dry-aged for 21 days, which enhances the flavor profile for your eating experience, and finally, the beef is delivered directly from our ranch to your door.

DeBruycker Charolais cattle are the first in the industry for conversion of forage to a finished product for a more sustainable use of the land.

DC Meats is sustainable and fresh because it is sourced from our ranch, rather than multiple sources like supermarket beef. You are getting single-sourced 100% American beef.

DeBruycker Charolais sets the standard in fresh, clean Montana beef that is number one in flavor and makes a major contribution to sustainable ranching practices.
