Pasture Raised, Grain Finished & Dry Aged

Charolais and flowers.jpg

Why does pasture raised, grain finished and dry age make such quality tasting meat?

When we hear of grass fed, we think of cattle frolicking on green grass that is lush and deep. Just know that not all grass is the same.

DeBruycker Charolais cattle are raised on native Montana prairie grass with lots of room to roam. We raise pasture grass-fed cattle. But what makes DeBruycker Charolais meat better than just grass fed beef? We finish our cattle for 30 days on locally sourced grain. The finishing process allows for good marbling of the meat which the Charolais breed is known for. And then we dry age our meat for minimum of 21 days.

When cattle are just grass fed and they are not finished to bring out quality of flavor and you, the consumer are in danger of getting a cut of beef that can taste gamey.

If you want game, you hunt deer, antelope or elk.

We do not want our cattle to taste like game. We want to bring you quality, marbled beef that is tender and melts in your mouth with undeniable flavor. Legendary, quality Charolais flavor.

And why does all this matter? We know you care about good stewardship of the land and you care about the quality of life the cattle experience.

We feel a responsibility to provide you with a quality product. We want you to know you can trust that DeBruycker Charolais Meat is sustainably and humanely raised with care and attention to detail. We want you to know you can feel good about feeding yourself and your family DeBruycker Charolais meat. We want you to know that where you choose to spend your dollars is actually helping contribute to sustainability for the environment, communities and the economy of America.

You keep up the legend and we are grateful.

Be well, eat well and do well.
